oh no! i bought my mum a white on for her birthday after she killed a pink one...

 Oh well. I'll bet on a double pink!

'Tis cameilia, a nice one too!  Give it a prune though, it looks a bit raggedy ;).  Much nicer than Leylandii, I'd take cuttings and plant them along where the old trees have been removed from.  They'll make a nice semi private wall.  Just make sure they're not in morning sunlight, otherwise the blooms won't be around for long.
