Well done Sky, another few that have been given another lifeline!
I'm having to re-home mine at the moment, as now we have 297 chicks instead of the 125 we wanted, we need the whole of the big henhouse, plus OH is having to extend it by another 16 feet!
So I chanced putting them on freecycle, and got 2 lovely ladies. One came Friday and picked up 8. they are now sharing gardens, yards and a field with a horse, 4 purebreeds and another 8 ex batts. The other lady came this morning for 20, but went away with nearer 30!!!! She runs a centre giving holidays to people with health and mental problems, and they will share her gardens and field with several dogs, ducks and rabbits. Just a few more to go, then we can get on with sorting the big henhouse out.
It's a shame, but at least they have gone on to loving homes.
