Title: Saving seeds
Post by: DHM on June 21, 2018, 07:49
Morning all, just thinking about next year, and what varieties of everything I'm going to grow... I'd quite like to let one or two plants from each thing I'm growing to run to seed to save money the following year. Now I know some things are hybrids or F1s or whatever and shouldn't be grown from saved seed but I don't know much about pollination etc and if this might be something I need to consider. Also if anyone knows of a resource which lists common varieties and if they can be grown from saved seed that would be fab.

Have a good day folks. (",)

The seeds can be saved from anything that isn't an f1 hybrid, however some are easier to save than others.
There is quite a lot of info here
