So sorry to hear about meridth! I hope you got two more as replacements. I'm amazed at your run, it is very very secure, i wouldn't like to be a fox trying to get into that. Lucky girls, tho i'm wondering if your warrens need something underfoot.. looks muddy garddwr. Fifitrix, your birds are lovely. The mottled white patches are very nice, what breed are they?

Meredith came to us first very weak, and although she had alot of TLC she never picked up. I noticed blood in her stools and they go worse and worse, foamy and weird. She wasn't eating alot either, only a few weeks old so we let her go.

I did get two more this week, Meredith the 2nd and Addison. They are beatiful and have laid us 5 eggs this week.

Tatiana and Izzie in the pic above arnt laying at all. How old do you guess them to be? The guy I bought them off said 1 year... Im not so sure, they're with us a while and not an egg in sight. Meredith and Addison laud on the first day with us!

Tatiania and Izzie look good i don't know how old they are from that photo but i can assure you that they are not pullets, good large red combs are usually an indicator of a laying hen. I know hens combs 'inflate' when they start laying and go red. I like to think it's because of the strain of laying an egg :D

Perhaps they've just not acclimatised to the new surroundings before they started to go 'ooh my it's ruddy cold and wet, not laying eggs now. Cluck'. Are you thinking that they are a lot older than the guy told you?
