i have seen foxes climb deer fence like going up steps . seen rabbits run up a fallen tree over a fence and jump down the other side ,seen them swim rivers ,seen one fox lift the bottom bar of a gate and pop it open in rabbit netting. also seen a sparrow hawk hide behind bales in abarn waiting for swallows to come n feed thier chicks . she kept popping her head around the corner of the bales .the swallows where not worried .i got the feeling they was giving her the " we can see you " comment. funniest thing i saw was a baby rabbit walking backwards from a badger   they realy are not made to do it
still alive /............

aye, theyre cunning and clever * i'll give em that. but making things secure and well built will stop em. Vigilence and diligent  maintenance as the key.

once watched a rabbit being 'charmed' by a stoat/weazel (never remember which is which) from my college digs window, absolutely fascinating.
