Will post some picis of them tonight if mum lets ud because she is quit nasty but my dad normally get the duckling to let me and my brother hold it . But Will deffo have some picis by tonight.

So you think we should leave the water in till they are a bit older.

These are mine at about 3 weeks old.

Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

They are my little mongrel collection. The biggest is the white Campbell I hatched that didn't get eaten by the magpies :cry: . He is called Gerry. The black one is a Cayuga/black crested cross called Daisy and the little yellow one with the grey beak and bum is a silver Appleyard called Sam. The second two I bought to keep the lone survivor company. At this stage I didn't know what gender they were! Still not entirely sure with Daisy and Sam. Will put a post on the keeping ducks thread about sexing ducks.

Sadly we had too take the duckling away from Rocky (the mum ) beacause they werent getting on :( I will try and get some picis some time because we have been sorting this duckling out because the lamp we have was beeing used by 2 Leghorn chicks so we had to split it half and half.


The pictures shouldnt be long !
