I would let them out together but stay with them and if it starts getting nasty seperate them for a bit again. It took a couple of days for ours to get on but they are all the best of friends now. Might be an idea to put pecking order in to the internet. You will probably find something with more detail than i can give you. I only started keeping chickens in January.

Ive got no experience with cockrels. You'd have thought hed be happy to have some more girls around. Weve got a chicken that looks like the one on the front of this forum, shes called Chucky, weve got a pekin bantum called Martha and we just rescued 3 battery hens and they are called Daisy, Trixy and Poppy. We are going to get a white silkie on sunday aswell then weve got to stop or we will have a garden full of chickens.

Iv got two silkies as you now and they are fab are you getting bantam ones??

iv named mine aswell here are the names of the Light Sussex - cockerel is Adoodles the three hens are called Spikey ,Girley and Shorty.

The Silkies are called- Splash is called Splashy and the blue is called Rocky!

Were are you getting you'r white silkie from ??

Not sure what silkie we are getting. My 2 year old daughter wanted a white chicken and i saw an advert for somewhere near barnsley. I gave the lady a ring and  we are going to hopefully get it on sunday. I will have to let you know what we get.
