Not normally into growing pretty things but planning to next year. Can these be grown from the saved seed from the fruits.
I have an abundance of them and will try anything at least once.

Yes, if you've sourced seed from one that has been growing outside, then you should be ok.

Some varieties can only be grown in a conservatory or heated greenhouse, though, which makes them more difficult.

Thanks for that mum. We have been infiltrated by next doors plant and have loads of nice orange fruit. Freebie passion flowers next year by the shed load me thinks

The seeds of the hardy passion flower (Passiflora caerulea) are really easy to germinate, just pop them in a pot with compost, water and wait. But be warned, nearly every seed will germinate so don`t sow too many. I was inundated with seedlings and grew on too many plants which I could luckily sell for charity. You will only need one plant, they grow into little monsters.
