What you ned is a Tonkinese - originally a cross breed of Siamese and Burmese.  My mum had a chocolate tonkinese , Fee (Feenix) who was the loveliest and most gentle boy ever.  I used to take my cat Oliver to play with Fee.  Whenever I picked up the car keys he would get in his traveling basket ready to go!  Fee was much nicer than her Burmese girl Jade, who was death on 4 legs to anything that might lurk in an allotment (Pigeons, pheasants, rabbits, moles, weasels).

Was very tempted by an abyssinian: they're super looking cats as well

But, as Parsnip says, all cats are the best  :D    :D

Aw Foxy you gave me such a giggle.

What about a vote for the Birman.  Stocky siamese colouring, blue eyes, white feet.  Two really quite and gentle ones (blue and seal) and then number three, Joshua (red), like a Tasmanian devil.  Bounces off the walls, picks the pattern out of wall paper, doesn't shut up ever, oh and intelligent - if you chew one end of a pouch and then put your paw on the other end the good stuff all comes out.  Cupboards and door handles easy.

Demands everything and anything and only shuts up when put on your shoulder and carried around.

On our local freecycle someone is rehoming 2  half ragdoll cats
They are lovely, but I don't think Lucy would like two interlopers who would be twice her size.
Rag dolls are lovely cats though..............
