Hi,

We had this Christmas Flowering indoor Houseplant Cyclamen as a Christmas present, it's flowered and I have cut the old flowers off and new ones seem to be emerging - just 1 or 2 mind ! Anyway what do I do with it now to get it to flower again next year? Feeding ? Watering ? Put it outside once it's finished ?

I water mine when I remember, haven't potted it on and it flowers every now and then 

I wouldn't put it outside as I have a vague recollection that indoor cyclamen are different from those that are hardy and go in the garden.  Others may know better on this tho'

Now - this is probably not by the book, but we've resurrected one from last year - and it's a cracker.

After flowering we fed it - seemed to be the done thing in the back of the mind - and when the leaves started to yellow, we stopped watering to the extent that we - errr stopped.

Shoved it in the garage to do it's own thing and when we saw it was shooting again, brought it inside and watered it. (It needed a good soaking as the compost was dried out).

And that was exactly right  Wild cyclamen die down in the summer months and then are resurrected when the damper weather arrives, and then flower in the spring (they are from Turkey etc orginally I think)

I usually stand mine (in pot of course) outside in the garden for the summer, then when it starts to leaf up again in the autumn I bring it back in doors.
