hi ya has any one got or seen a planet junior wheeld hoe, an old boy i new had one were i lived in norfolk, he said i could have it , but i moved away and forgot about it, i have not seen one since, the soil in norfolk was ideal for it not sure about the stoney ground where i live now ..........pete

Yes, I have an elderly one that is fitted with hoe blades rather than tines.
I was that impressed with it on our Essex clay that I parked it in one of dear wifeys flower beds and convinced her that I had bought it for her as an ornament. Did'nt want her to think I might have wasted money on something for the allotment.  .

hi ya  GROWSTER, that was a very interesting post, good reading,  if ya cant buy one make your own, i am looking on ebay and gooogle to see if there are any jaylo type tools about, if not bicycle or old weel barrow frame comes to mind,...........pete

Good idea Pete, and it's worth seeing how they used to make them with either top handles, or lower ones, as I think the lower design would be more stable, although the top style might be easier to push!

Wheelbarrow frame is a great start!

Definitely a Gurgle monent...;0)
