i was using my strimmer (makita rst 210) all was well i turned it off .then went to start it again and now it wont start please help .(i have done the oil ratio correct as i have checked )

assuming it has petrol in check the spark plug for a spark, check all connecting leads are secure and not corroded i9f they are they clean them up   hope this helps.

were you running it for a long time before you turned it off?
sometimes this can happen when the petrol evaporates in the carb  because the engine has got very hot.
it can be very easy then to "flood the engine" trying to start it on choke.........
you may well find that if you take the plug out and laeve it over night, it will start again the next day without too much trouble.

is there a bubble under the carb,if there is give it a few presses.

other than that take out plug and replace with new one,also try this,,

use to work with vespas/lambrettas.... take out plug an squirt some wd40 into chamber, replace plug try and start if it fires but stops its fuel stavation. check all hoses and clamps.. also take carb apart maybe a blocked reed for 2 stroke.
