OK, embarrassing confession here... I was reading the aforementioned book before I went to sleep last night and woke up at 4am so excited at the thought of all the seeds/flowers etc I couldn't get back to sleep again for 3 hours - by which time the alarm went off <sigh>. Am now really tired. Is anyone else as sad as me when it comes to gardening-excitement-induced insomnia? Is this just because I'm a newbie or am I cursed with it for life now?!

I find myself working out how many spuds I can fit in each veg bed or how many bean sticks I need, I find this gets me off to sleep a treat. Much better than counting sheep

Truly bonkers!  :D  I can talk mind, as an avid angler, I quite often see floats being pulled under as I drift off.

I even dream about my allotment! I plan to have a cutting patch, but may not be able to get round to it this year.
Lynne.

So much to do, but so little time.

M9 stock? They are two years old but only planted end of Nov 07. If grass or flowers aren't a good option what else could I do??
Bare soil :)
