If I've cut a squash in half (in this case Uchiki Kuri) and only want to use half of it for a meal, what options do I have for the other half? If I wrapped it in clingwrap, how long would it stay good in the fridge? Or is it better to just cut it up and freeze it?

I find it keeps for quite a while wrapped in cling film.  The cut edge tends to dry out but I just cut a thin slice off this and use the rest

I've stored it for a good few days in a polybag in the fridge. But this year when rot started in a few...I just cubed and roasted the lot with a few spices, and then froze in portion sizes.
I can then just microwave it to serve as veg or I can tip some into a saucepan add some stock, heat through and whizz for soup. Depends how long you want to store it, really.
