Anyone else not have a water supply on site? Haven't got my allotment yet and wondering how others get on without it?

No water on our site Manda!

Most people have sheds with IBC containers attached (we have a friendly supplier), and other various baths, drums etc.

There is a tank which was put in for everyone to use, and was meant to have been filled by the fire brigade, but that's stopped now, and it only collects some rainwater via an extended roof!

During the hot summer a couple of years ago, I used to barrow down 10 gals of water every day, using half-gallon milk bottles...

Ditto, no water, 2 x IBC's off a shed, thats 2,000L of water!

You might be able to make a deal with another allotment holder to use their water until you can get yours sorted. Worth also bearing in mind - 5L water bottles from the supermarket are easy to refill and cheap as chips.
