Hi everybody

I let my flock out yesterday onto fresh grass as the area they are on at the moment looks like the Gobi desert. The grass area is part of their original pen that I roped off in January and re-seeded, so I know there are no chemicals etc on there that can irritate them. Yesterday afternoon I noticed my Columbine had developed a bit of a cough - its very high pitched - almost like a hoot and she sneezes occasionally. Today, one of my Exchequer leghorns is doing the same. Both birds look healthy, they are eating and drinking normally and fighting for their treats as usual. Their chests sound clear and there's no smell or discharge from the eyes or nostrils, so I've ruled out Myco. I have Tylan which I had from the vet to treat the Myco, but I'm loath to just dose them up if it's just a bit of a cold or hayfever. Can hens get hayfever? Any advice greatly appreciated.
