Ants in my Strawberry bed
« on: June 02, 2008, 01:45 »
I have planted a new strawberry bed this year and this weekend it needed a bit of weeding. When weeding i found 2 ants homes. one was black ants with loads of eggs the other were the orange/yellow ants but had no eggs. Im a bit worried now that they will have a feast on my strawberries. I dug well where they were, but does anyone know if they will harm my strawberries in any way? and if they will what is the best way to get rid of them?

I'd move them out. :)
