Tall cold fame

Hi guys. I'm looking for a cheap one, where topn opens up at for ventilation. Can't find a decent priced on so made the to make one.      Does anyone have any plans I could use?

Thanks. I was looking at the taller ones really. More like a lean to greenhouse. But I can have a go at building a small one

I don't use plans but rather gather, recycled free materials and see what I have.  Normally windows and pallets....

You may find a cheap plastic one is cheaper than building.  Try freegle, greencycle etc for someone looking to pass one on.  Or just a freestanding shelving unit and buy some polytunnel cover and drape/fix if as a cover.

have you thought about the mini greenhouses, wilko have a 4 tier one for £9, however they also sell mini cold frames for £11 - dont know if they are usefull to you or not?

Those things tend to blow away very easily matt, even if it isn't windy where you live. ::)

I have one of those mini greenhouse things. I have to tie it to the wall and wedge it in place with x2 large planters to stop it going next door in the slightest breeze. Having said that, they do keep the frost off. My caulis and leeks seem to be doing quite well
