Well the rhubarb is still bubbling away and I got the bramble started,3.5 gallons of the stuff,racked the cider,it went down to 1.000 and cider pressing tomorrow with the son and heir if he's got the yeast ready.

Bit rough on him, being dis-inherited if the yeast isn't bubbling and ready to go to work :ohmy:. Does the cats home become the main beneficiary after the son ? :D :D :D

No way sg6,daughter and hieress would step forward, any way he redeemed himself came this morning with 1ltr of of frothy yeast which I shall pitch tomorrow morning.
    The pressing went well only one little breakdown which was soon put right, s.g. was 1.042 so should end up with quite a strong brew, I even invested in a ph test kit and the juice was at 3.5 which I think is o.k. So looking forward to a repeat next week.
