Title: Chillies & peppers
Post by: texas on October 03, 2017, 22:03
I've had an excellent   crop of chillies and peppers, some are still green though is it too late to expect them to ripen? have been growing them in a unheated greenhouse

If they are in pots, could you bring them indoors?

Texas if you are in the south of the UK they may well continue to ripen in the greenhouse for another couple of weeks

Have already had temperatures as low as 7C here, Sunny  that's why I thought it would be better to bring them in

They will continue to ripen, but get them in or off the plant if real cold threatens. If it stays mild then you could sill be harvesting for a few more weeks. Been a great year for Chillies this year!
