I chitted potatoes, left them well late to plant, planted anyway and they are flourishing and healthy looking, problem I have is I never kept my package and dont know and cant remember which variety or first seconds, how do I guess when they are ready haha dozey.com

12 weeks after you planted them have a furtle round the roots to see what's happening. If they aren't ready as earlies repeat the furtle a few weeks later.

Repeat until they are

There doesnt seem to be any perceivable difference in maturity times this year, with my first and second earlies all ready at the same time

My first earlies aren't flowering yet (planted 22nd March) although other people's are, well we burrowed down and rooted some out for tea yesterday but they were still small...
