Hi
I'm very very new to this allotment business and was hoping to get some advice.
I have planted some leek, sweetcorn and tomato seeds in seed trays using seed compost and have put them in a propogator from argos.
It's been a couple of weeks now and there is no sign of any seedlings.
Could anybody advise me on where I'm going wrong?
Thanks

leek germination can be between 2 and 3 weeks.
The tomatoes should be popping up any day, and corn, I can't remember. Last time I grew it was probably 10 years ago...
There are other factors, how hot/moist etc the compost is (right now, I wouldnt bother with a propagator for anything).
cheers,
Derek

Perhaps I'm too eager!!

Should have seen something by now, but as mentioned by dereklane, you shouldn't really need a propagator now.
With these temperatures, tomatoes should pop through in a day or two, it is possible things have been too warm & damp & have rotted.
