Peas - brown spots on the leaves

I noticed today that my peas have brown spots on the leaves and a couple of the pods have them as well. Can't find anything in my gardening book on this can anyone tell me what it is?

sounds like bacterial blight , no cure i belive .search for it and you may be lucky with someone posting a succesful cure or preventative

Doc Hessayon suggests Leaf & Pod Spot. Treatment is to lift and destroy affected plants. Prevention is by crop rotation

Doesn't say. Try google but I'd be tempted to eat them.
