evergreen - deciduous

Beans are not evergreen. Any forum is just as good and knowledgable as its members are, Dicgy.

That's like moaning about about a TV programme that you don't like.

There's always the "off" button.

Admin can always press it for you.

but you have to watch the programme first before you can moan about about it Tommy

like i said i came here to ask a simple question which is proving to be the hardest question in gardening history as no one knows the answer

and then on top of that i get threatened with being switched off!!

if this is that kind of forum where everyones scared to say the wrong thing through fear of getting banned then go ahead Tommy make my day

If it is such a simple question you shoudl know the answer, or do what most people do and research the question, posting some pictures woudl help.

All we know you might be that much of a plonker that the brown spots are dried up mud

Guys this guy must be a troll or someone with to much time on there hands

DP, I did answer your question, as fully as possible given the very limited information you have provided.  Without a picture of the said leaf spots, a diagnosis of what is wrong is impossible, and an answer to the composting question can't be given.

There is absolutely no need to insult me or any others who are, in the face of such rudeness, doing their best to be civilised and helpful.

Admin, can this thread be locked, please?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I think I ought to make some comment on this.

With the best will in the world, I don't know everything and neither will I pretend to know what I don't. I'm an experienced grower but not a genius! Also, often there are a number of possible reasons for a problem and a number of opinions can be useful.

Secondly, I make it clear on the contact form that I can not give individual advice. I really don't have the time to go into detail with everyone about their gardening problems. Those who do ask often have been too lazy to even bother looking on the site information section where the answer to their question is.

Thirdly, by asking and answering a question on the forum, it is visible to everyone. So somebody else with the same problem can see the answer.

Finally - I hope Digger was just trying to be amusing rather than serious in his attitude - and hydrogen peroxide is something used in bleaching hair. Leaving legume roots in does leave nitrogen in the soil.
