I want so blooming rain!!!!! 

Is anyone else struggling to keep up with watering their allotments through the lack of rain??!!!  And the weeds.....!!!!!

I am struggling to keep up with the watering, but remember that as soon as it rains you will be surrounded with new weeds.  Thats the fun of allotments .....

That is the problem with it raining.  Any advise on how to keep on top of the weeds that are growing?

We finally got a good rainfall this morning, and the weeds were already thriving  The couch is incredible this year, everywhere I look. Even on ground I didn't rotovate, merely loosened with a fork.

It looked so promising this morning, but I should have realised that a north east wind wouldn`t yield much.

A meagre 0.3 mm from three hours dampness.
