Where are you growing them, Jeni?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

That post has nothing to do with MOS and it's not going to be whitefly honeydew on seedlings!

What compost are you using
Ideally you want to sow in seed compost otherwise you risk the seedlings being burnt
This is just one possibility

DD probably asked where you were growing them because these 3 types of plant do not like to be warm.
If you are growing inside in the warm, there's your answer!
My seeds germinated and the seedlings are still in one of those zippy things but I leave the front open.

That's exactly why I asked!

I like to know the full circumstances before we resort to guesswork!

Hi

Sorry I couldnt get back on here till now..

They was started off in a tray with a lid with seed compost in the green house,it isnt heated the temperture stayed at about 50 C - 60 C,though the day then dropped down to 48 C on a night,I keep the lids on till  they gerimated, then I transfered then in to small pots of New Horizon Organic Peat Free Multi-Purpose Compost..
I will put some pictures on here when my other OH gets in,as I arent very good when it comes to doing thing with the computer.
Thank you for your help..

Jeni..  :)

The cooler temp wouldn't have hurt, as brassicas don't like it too warm, they may even have been too hot.

I think the photo may help, rather than just guessing at the moment.

The seedling looks healthy enough! Those are the cotyledens (seed leaves) which can be malformed but I notice there is a bud growing which will be the first real leaves.
Wait until they have grown before worrying too much.
If they don't grow or are weird there is something wrong.
