Can i compost the leaves and stems of my bluebells as they look sad now also they have seed type heads on them .

Leave the leaves to feed the bulbs to get flowers next year. You can nip the seedheads off, though.

Most of the leaves have gone yellowyand limp

I would not compost the seedheads.  Bluebells are wretched nightmare to get rid of - so invasive and cannot be controlled by weedkiller

Ok then but the leaves will be ok , someone told me they were poisonous so wanted to check first

I've not heard about the leaves being poisonous before 

Mind you, rhubarb leaves give you stomach ache if you eat them, but are fine composted.
