Can i compost the leaves and stems of my bluebells as they look sad now also they have seed type heads on them .

Leave the leaves to feed the bulbs to get flowers next year. You can nip the seedheads off, though.

Most of the leaves have gone yellowyand limp

I would not compost the seedheads.  Bluebells are wretched nightmare to get rid of - so invasive and cannot be controlled by weedkiller  :mad:
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Ok then but the leaves will be ok , someone told me they were poisonous so wanted to check first

I've not heard about the leaves being poisonous before  :unsure:

Mind you, rhubarb leaves give you stomach ache if you eat them, but are fine composted.
