I made a thermostatic propogator that we left behind 2 houses ago  :(

A deep wooden box from some scrap designed to take 4 seed trays into which I fitted 2 lightbulb holders with some aluminium over the top with holes drilled in to spread the heat.

I then connected the contraption via a thermostat picked up for 50p at a car boot and it worked really well. In very cold weather, I replaced the 25W bulbs with 40W.

At night the greenhouse glowed like an alien spaceship landed in the garden!

Weird things these computers - but thanks for pointing out by your post that I'd left the section open to anyone to post in even if not logged in, thank goodness the spammers hadn't clocked it or we'd have been full of where to buy cheap enhancement drugs and suchlike!
