Hi
Does anyone have a receipe for tomato chutney where I can use a varierty of all shades of ripeness, as I don't have enough of one or the other for recipes I've seen.

I've used this one with a mix of green and barely ripe toms - cos I wanted to clear out the greenhouse.

I used ordinary onions, ground ginger instead of cardamom (cos that's what I had) and only 1 tablespoon of salt as one of the comments said it was too salty :D

Hi Steve, I wouldn't worry about them all being the same degree of ripeness. I use Delia Smiths recipe as a basis and work from there.
It works for me, and it always sells quickly!
