Heavy duty potato fork

It doesn't call it a heavy duty potato fork it calls it a heavy duty digging fork and the one next to it is a potato fork.

The red one is the heavy duty digging fork !

Oh yeah it calls it a potato fork.
It is a beet fork anyway that one could certainly use with potatoes if one felt inclined

It is a beet fork. Definately. What handle does it have and can you see any identifying name on it.
hi pink ive posted the pic off handle there is no makers mark on it but if you look at the close up off the buisness end ,i thought that the outside  tines were bent but that is how they were made   (curious )
If the early bird gets the worm how come the 2nd mouse to the trap gets the cheese ??

I supect the outer tines will be turned in a bit at the top to give a bit of shoulder to the sides so as to hold in the commodity being "shovelled"...as whatever this forks real title is...it is effectively a fork for shovelling the  commodity from off a flat surface rather than digging.

All the best,
   "Dori"

lo all
i used that kind of fork when i was a laddie, loading turnips in to a hopper to get chopped up to feed cattle and sheep.one fork similar to that was ,what we called it a tattie harp which had rounded tines from the T piece down to the tip where you had weld like blobs of metal so you didnt damage the tatties when you were harping them into the back of the dresser to get bagged up.

I've got one of these, my father in law had had it for years and told me it was a mucking out fork.

I use it for clearing out my Pig sty, it's brilliant for the job
