Post by: A. Fallowfield on March 01, 2013, 15:57
Has anyone found an adhesive that permanently stick polytunnel material?

Have you tried polytunnel repair tape?   I know from experience it works brilliantly on the solid plastic cover and if the mesh type cover is made of the same material, it should adhere..... shouldn't it? :)

Short of that, something like Gorilla Glue (http://uk.gorillaglue.com/eng/glues/glue-list/1/) would be worth a try on a test patch. :D

Clear silicone?

I have some tape it works fine, but I've tried silicon, super glue, UHU and some plastic adhesive George had in his shed, but to no avail! :(

UHU and others are mostly indoor stationary glues. I'd go with Gorilla glue - really sticks to anything.

For whatever reason, my OH put a bottle of it in the fridge on a door shelf, it somehow fell over, leaked, and now I have a bottle of it permanently stuck inside the fridge door  >:(
