Title: Come on girls, I'll be look-out!
Post by: TeaPots on May 09, 2010, 11:30
Hmmmph. Harley found a worm in my flower tub....so he has called his favourite girls, and is standing guard while they are standing in my flower tub, scritching around for all they are worth.
The new Petunias are beyond saving, but the entertainment from watching their delight is far greater than watching the flowers grow. I think Harleys top hen, the skinny, bald backed  rescue girlie has now got a name...how does Petunia sound?
(All of my chooks grow their own names..I dont just randomly give them any old name when I get them....there is a story behind all their names, though a couple still dont have names as such.

Petunia sounds grand :D...mine kinda 'grow' their own names too. My little baby welsummers colours on her neck have started to come through .It looked like an amber necklace shining in the sun thismorning, so she has her new name today also...do you like Amber?
