hi I know there is a place in Caerphilly called Orchards. look in telephone directory for number. I'm considering some myself. When I rang they only had Warrens @ £4.75.

Thanks Tump, but I really want a differnt colour - I have some brown ones. I got them from Mr Welshegg, but they only have brown Warrens.

I bought my chickens almost 3 years ago - they were about £4 each at 20 weeks.

They sell different prices for differnt ages. The yougest are very cheap cheap !

Its quite a big place.

Unfortunately the house of the trees is now closed for the year.
The next sale is the second sunday in April and then the second sunday of every month following

I managed to buy 3 new chickens about 2 weeks ago at a "farm" in Brynna, near Pencoed. Nice choice of birds, but not sure what I bought - bit of a mixture I think.

with the bird flu about, all bird sales have been cancelled now anyway, so it is just aswell most of them have finished for the winter months.
