Best wishes to all (I don't do Christmas but you guys might)!

Whatcha mean you don't do Christmas ?
You don't have a choice, it comes along every year
I don't do birthdays, but they still happen, every year
It just means we don't celebrate either one ;)
Now if you were 5 years old, how would you feel, if your Mum said we don't do Christmas
Even my hens do Christmas, they have a Christmas lunch (They enjoy sprouts, cabbage, lettuce, they are still trying to get used to carrots though
Even Barry looks forward to Christmas, he bangs on the back door for his lettuce
Even if you don't 'do' Christmas, have a great holiday :D
-
Thank you but retired = holiday all the time :D
I have no family so for me Christmas is optional!!!
xxxxxxx

Oh, c'mon, so am I, but think of the hens (you got some cracking birds)
With your hens you aren't alone, knock up a bit of veg for them, let them have a Christmas (or holiday) with you, I reckon you will all enjoy it
Mine are having a cocktail of cabbage, cauliflower, lettuce, cress and for afters they get to catch worms, snails and grass
I hope to have a visit from my favourite squirrel as well
Christmas is optional for me as well, so I chose to enjoy not just Christmas but the holiday
Which ever you choose to do, make it a good day
-
Thank you for the card Nerdle. You have a good day as well, whether you decide to do Christmas or not :)
Sounds like your Barry and his girls are having quite a party at yours Pepsi. Hope you all enjoy it :)

I reckon they enjoy Christmas (or the holiday) as much as I do, its great watching them tuck into their grub, who needs presents when you can watch them enjoy their selves, unlike their poor cousins the turkey
-
;) :) :D

Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Merry Christmas to you, too, Nerdle :) See, you're not really alone, you've got all of us. So an especially 'Happy Christmas' to all site members who, for one reason or another, may be spending Christmas on their own.

It doesn't have to be Christmas, just a holiday if you like, I know its hard when you don't have human company, but c'mon, hens (and my Barry) don't complain, they got everything I thought they would want for a gift, they never said they didn't like what I gave them, they never complained when I let them out late
They never got a xbox, they got an eggbox, they never complained when they didn't get a play station, they like their feeding station
They never complained when they never got sparkling wine, they got warm water
So me and my Hens (and Barry ) are all very happy this holiday
(problem with retirement is, you just never get a day off :D)

There is no need for any concern for me - I could volunteer/take in other waifs and strays and surround myself with people all day if I wanted to. Just prefer to have a lazy day with me 'ens and the telly - bliss!!!
Hope you've enjoyed the day as much as I have :)xxxxx

Hello nerdle,
Your day sounds similar to mine and I do have family, I think, somewhere.
Talk to the hens, watch telly, play on the computer, go to bed.
Not much money but plenty of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
