 Dog walked we both got soaked but are now dry.  The cake I made yesterday for husbands birthday has been tried,  it was as dry as it looked.  Teach me to follow a recipe!  New cake baking - tried and tested method of throw it in the bowl and mix, works everytime.  He wants bacon sarnie for breakfast so that's next on the agenda. 
In hindsight I had cake issues!

I'm glad today is looking better, we had a lovely day yesterday we cleared of for the day and it was magical,

Today has been good.  Grandchildren visited with our youngest son and his wife.  Lots of cards and phone calls.  Much happier.
