Training sweet peas

Just had a wonder if sweet peas could be trained at an angle like roses to produce more flowers? Never tried it but may do next year.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I've never heard of it done.

The traditional way to train sweet peas is to grow them up a cane, then when they reach the top, put them down on the ground and start to grow them up a cane further away.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
