Title: grumpy getting old man rant
Post by: Aidy on February 19, 2018, 09:09

Had to cancel my days fishing today as it appears I have caught Tennis Elbow! My right elbow struggled to lift a mug of tea yesterday and was really painfull. I think I know where I caught it, I was splitting some wood on Saturday.
On top of this my left knee locked up on me at 3.20am, that was painfull! This getting old is making me grumpy!

It's that splitting wood that's a killer. I'm suffering today too having got up at 6 yesterday morning, unable to sleep. The best plan I could come up with was to go out and sort the log shed and split sticks for next winter. My formerly broken elbow is less than impressed with me and is insisting that tea in bed would have been a much better plan.

Sometimes I feel like that too. February is not the best of months for me and when one set of joints play up one day and the next day it's another set's turn I get fed up, but on the good side, I get lots of sympathy especially when I use my stick! Also I'm due for two cataract ops but can't wait to see the difference it will make to my life. Happy days ahead! Now you just have some me-time with resting and treat yourself to some nice food and tinctures along with a big hug from me. GG xxx
