You get money off - 10%? - orders from the catalogue. What other benefits are there? :)

Erm - list of benefits here

??? I'd say the seed discount is useful although their starting prices are on the high side, I get that discount through the organic community garden here that we are involved with, but I'm not so sure about the other benefits whn you have this wealth of knowledge in the form of our forum members! :D

I have been a member for some years.

You get a magazine - which can  be a bit crackpot - and various invitations to give them more money or volunteer for things.

However you can also subscribe to the heritage seeds library and get free (but very small) packets of seeds unobtainable elsewhere.

If you are considering joining simply for the financial benefits forget it.  If you are seriously interested in organic gardening and want to keep up to date membership is essential.

I'm rather spoilt for choice as Ryton Gardens as I still call it, is only a ten minute drive from my house and I do visit quite often to stroll arond the shop and resturant. I normally pay in high summer to go around the gardens.
I would recommend you to join ;)

Well it seems to be an equal split both ways between the yeas and nays at the moment. I may well have to flip a coin after Christmas and see what comes of that.

Hmmm, I'm a big fan of organic gardening, but to be honest... there is so much information out in the interwebs about organic gardening,  that i couldnt justify to myself why a membership would be worth it... at least not from the information point of view.
The free seeds you can't get anywhere else is the most tempting part to me rather than the information... but i'm addicted to seeds, and there are already a couple million varieties out there that i've not grown yet... so until i've grown all the varieties on my wish list, I can easily talk myself out of needing these rare and wonderful seeds.
