Title: What to do with this tomato seedling?
Post by: ConfusedGardener on May 25, 2013, 21:32
My tomato seedlings are about ready for potting up, but should I bother with the seedling on the left? Is it likely to do anything?

It's "blind" - has no growing tip, it won't do anything.

Yup, what DD said.  I potted one on a few weeks ago, and while the rest of the batch are now 5" high, it's seed leaves have grown but nothing else...

Yes, I was a bit late this year. Next year I'll get them going a bit earlier!
