another plottie gave me some celeriac seedlings today... have planted them...anything special I need to do to care for them?

Slugs like them.

Remove side shoots when they appear

Celeriac is a pretty easy vegetable to grow. They love well fertile soil which is in a sunny spot on the allotment.

You have to remove the sideshoots from late august onwards, just remove the lower leaves to expose the main crown.

Other than that keep well watered and the area weed free  8)
