Help! Rotting eggs?
humidity is a very hard subject ....

some put water in straight away.....and have great results..
others like me, dont add water till 3 days before they are due to hatch...and i have great results.

a lot depends on the humidity outside the inc aswell as the make of incubator.

if it were me, until you know your incubator, i would follow the manufacturers instructions.

you can buy a hydrometer for incubators.

or you can weigh the eggs as i do.

I got a free hydrometer with mine. The only thing is though, I have low humidity in my warm room, so I believe it's better to add water to begin with -which is also following instructions.
