I wondered if I would be allowed to add this thread here as I can't see anywhere else for it to go.
My pets have feathers you see. ;)

Keeping dodo's, Paul? :D

My chickens are also classed as pets Paul (as are most peoples chickens on here). The titles chicken chat and hen house are just general titles for all types of birds.
Most vets who don't have a specialist poultry vet in their group will have one that has been on an exotic pets course which covers budgies, parrots and chickens so I think your feathered pets if they are birds would be most welcome in those sections. Of course if your pet is a dog with feathers (the long fur on the back of their legs is called their feathers) then it would be best in this section :).

I think PP has parroty type birds.
-
In which case they would be most welcome in the chicken chat and hen house :D

No Dodos DD but it's worth considering  That would be interesting!!
My pets are (boring old) budgies so being transferred transported transmuted transmitted relocated or beamed up to the Chicken Chat section would be an honour!
Is that possible Scotty Joyfull? Please.

no budgie is boring Paul so yes please feel free to post in the chicken sections anytime. You are in good company keeping budgies - our local hero Geoff Capes is well know to keep them :)
-
are the pics going to follow Paul? my mum recently got a new budgie after thinking she was beginning to talk to the pictures on the walls ..... he's really good company and a real chatterbox

I'll be back after the bed-time visit to plonk a picture of a bootiful budgie in with the Chicken Chat & Hen House section.
I hope they get on OK... can't be doing with feather plucking!
