Garden shrub ID please

Hi,

Can anyone ID this garden shrub please.

It appears to be evergreen with dark green oval leaves approx 2 meters tall and 1 meter spread with upright habit. Flowering April with dark pink flowers. Was thinking it might be an ornamental quince.

I'm not so sure - there are an awful lot of dark leaves on those photos for quince at this time of year and the flowers don't look quite right to me.  There are a few down our road and they don't look like that, though they are all in full bloom.

Deffo Camellia. :) If you can locate the variety you might be able to grow your own tea!
