It may seem like a good deal but I'm not so sure.  Check the specs of the phone, even for a basic phone (which is all I ever buy) it seems somewhat lacking.  Also, take a look at the call cost once you've topped up.  Might be cheaper to spend a tiny bit more on a handset which usually comes with some sort of free top-up or other offer and even if it doesn't the call charges might be less which will make a big difference in no time.

I got my present phone through a similar (but not so good) deal.  Again it's fairly basic, no camera, but has the phone /  text / radio functions I wanted.

After using the Orange minutes up, I simply put my own SIM card back into it and continued using it.  It was already unlocked so I didn't have to pay for that to be done, and I got a replacement phone for my old one for only a few pounds.
