Just bought Crocus sativus Spanish saffron

Is it too late now to put them in? just fancied growing my own saffron, good about 30 bulbs, I have been told they multiply very fast?

any tips from anyone would be appreciated

If its remotely like ordinary flowring crocus, then now is a good time to plant. Spring flowering bulbs get planted in the autumn.

Saffron crocus is an autumn flower, so I think they need to go in pretty quickly

They need really good drainage but never grown them myself, so can't offer any more advice than that
