Yesterday I was Poll Clerking - so it was sandwiches for me and turkey pie with leftover roast veggies for him.

Tonight is Friday night lamb burgers (with herbs etc), chips and coleslaw.   :D

Some beautiful bits of fillet steak I got from a farm shop the other week, chips & salad. A nice cold, long gin & tonic to go with it

Last night was stir fried beef in oyster sauce with the last of last year's onions, stir fried carrot, last of the mangetout from the freezer and a few bits of pepper and cashews.  Rice.  And a bottle of fizzy wine to celebrate summer.   :)

Tonight the bbq is coming out!  Chicken, sausage, veggie spikes, pittas, corn on the cob in garlic butter .... :D
Oh and coleslaw ....

Yesterday was a lamb leg steak with  cauliflower cheese, tomatoes new potatoes.
Today it's the 2nd of the lamb leg steaks with coleslaw, salad bits and a jacket potato.

I've been picking rhubarb so can make a crumble if I'm in the mood for it later  :D

Tonight the bbq is staying out ...  so I'd better dive into the freezer and see what we have.  Don't expect 2 bbq days in succession.   :D :D :D

Left overs from yesterday, but not as much Chicken as I’d hoped so I might make a frittata or quiche to go with it to eke it out.

Oven?  Yesterday?? Respect!!

Today I am putting a couple of turkey wings in the slow cooker with lots of fresh herbs and and onion.  I'll strip the meat later and put it in a white wine sauce with mushrooms, leek etc.  I might put it in a pie if it is cooler, or just with a microwaved jacket spud if not.
