sweet peas in poly tunnel
« on: January 07, 2011, 17:00 »
Has anyone any experience of growing sweet peas in a polytunnel using cordon method and lowering then retying frequently to extend growing season by starting earlier and keeping going later than outside??. Many thanks

I don't have polytunnel experience as I simply grow mine outside, but I find that if I keep on top of picking them, they're still blooming for me into October. If frosts threaten I can just sling a width of fleece over them for night.
