Carnations Red Fenbow

I did some Red 'Fenbow' carnations from seed last year, they were lovely and easy to do.  They have come up again this year and are weedy specimens, tall but look like a sweet william flower, ermm like very single petals all round obviously, rather than full of petals.

Can I fix this at all.

They looked like this first year, as they should as these are the actual seeds I grew:

And now they loosely look like these obviously not these colours and not so many on a bunch, just trying to give you an idea of the single petal group and explaing it very badly LOL

I wonder if its the same plants as last year. :unsure: Perhaps the lovely red carnations  of last year self set seed and this years plants are the results :wub:
