Hello there can sombody please tell me what to do with our tulips now they have finished flowering.The petals of the flowers all fell off last week,and we ae just left with the flower stalk and leaves Many thanks Neil of Doncaster

Snap off half the old flowering stem so that the plant can't make any seed which is useless anyway. Let the old leaves go brown before moving if that's what you want to do. This allows the plant to feed itself so it's ready for next season. If you don't want to move it, simply leave it to go brown and the tops die off. It looks manky but you can always put something right in front of them to disguise their sad state for a while.
