So today, we said goodbye to our beloved yellow Lab Rumer who has sadly crossed over Rainbow Bridge.. as some of you will remember, we lost Daisy through bone cancer back in December 2021, well, Rumer was Daisy's sister.
Rumer was the 'runt' of the litter and she had dwarfism, so her initial outlook wasn't that good, they said if she lasted 5-6 years we'd have been doing great, 12 years later, she's been our little miracle! Luckily we were with her at the end, unlike Rea & Daisy, so it was a little more comforting being able to hold her as she passed away!

Always a sadness

Always going to be one of those days, sadly...
You buy into a dog, they love you for it, but the payback has to come eventually!
Those twelve years were magical for her and everyone - well done you!

Our Fudge was the runt in a litter of nine and she was tiny compared to the others (Boxers). She lived until 14 unlike the others in the litter who only did the expected 8 - 12. I know your loss and send you and your family a virtual hug.

Sad news Andy, but you did really well to give her 12 years after a less than promising start.

Really sorry to hear about Rumer. Thank you for giving her a good life and a caring home.
